Gregory W. Rome

Gre­gory Rome, a native of Chal­mette, Louisiana, grad­u­ated first in his class in 2006 from Loy­ola Uni­ver­sity New Orleans with a Bach­e­lors degree in com­puter sci­ence. In 2009, Rome grad­u­ated from Tulane Law School with a Juris Doc­tor degree and a cer­tifi­cate in civil law. That same year, he was admit­ted to prac­tice in Louisiana. While at Tulane, Rome helped found the Civil Law Com­men­taries, the first legal jour­nal ded­i­cated to Louisiana law and its his­tor­i­cal roots, and served on its inau­gural edi­to­r­ial board. He also served as law clerk to the Hon­or­able Kirk A. Vaughn in the 34th Judi­cial Dis­trict, State of Louisiana, start­ing in 2007.

Gre­gory Rome is also a AAA-trained medi­a­tor and the co-author of the recently pub­lished ref­er­ence book, the Louisiana Civil Law Dic­tio­nary, and main­tains a per­sonal blog on tech­nol­ogy, the law, and letters.
